The total number of non-mana cards in your deck, and the total CMC of all non-mana cards. The total cost of all your cards for each of your colours. Use these numbers as a guideline for constructing your deck’s mana base.
Are there any shock lands in standard Mana base?
The shock lands are reprinted for standard, so they can probably be included since their prices are dropping so much. Obviously include them if you get any. They are definitely strict upgrades on basically any of the Dual lands in this Mana base, they just usually cost twice as much money.
