Leyline of Combustion’s triggered ability resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger. It resolves even if that spell is countered.
How does Leyline of Anticipation work?

Is leyline of anticipation better than vedalken Orrery?
They’re both highly tutorable in UW, Orrery is slightly more recurrable… definitely a meta call. If you see lots of artifact hate go with leyline, if enchantments never hang around the board run the orrery. Ideally run both if you are depending on flash for significant impact during your games.
Does leyline of sanctity protect Planeswalkers?
Leyline of Sanctity will not prevent a planeswalker from receiving combat damage, but it will prevent some spells from targeting the controller of a planeswalker. However, spells that damage without targeting a player will get around the Leyline, and this damage can be redirected to a planeswalker.

Why is Teferi hero of dominaria so good?
Teferi is a great realization of control elements. It is this card that largely is there to build advantages; but can ultimately ensure the game going very, very long. Imagine you have built lots of card advantage primarily through card draw. Then you have the emblem going.
